First Thursdays are a monthly opportunity to welcome our guests to the U.S. & Philadelphia, practice your language skills, make new local friends and stay in touch with what's happening internationally.  It's the easiest way to practice Citizen Diplomacy without leaving Philadelphia!

Citizen diplomacy engages citizens in international relations. Meeting counterparts and experiencing everyday American life provides an authentic & more accurate view of the "real" U.S.

#1. Email or call Alan Hatfield to register. If you're a member, it's free!
(Plus you can bring a new friend for free each month)
If you're not a member, why pay each month? Just join and get ten free receptions each year!

#2.
At the event,  pick up your name badge and the sheet that lists our guests' names with a description of their interests & why they're here.

#3.
Check the sheet to see what color ribbon they're wearing so you can identify them easily in the crowd.

#4.
Walk up, say hello and welcome them to Philadelphia and the U.S.!

It's easy, you'll make a new friend and you'll make the U.S. look good.
